Hello Hiver
Hello everyone, how are you
I'm back with a black and white photo of me that you might like and this is my entry #monomad
My trip this time to an area in the very cold mountains, namely the city of Bener Meriah, Aceh Province.
The city, which is located in the Gayo highlands, which is famous for the best coffee-producing areas, has a tradition of a folk party tradition, namely traditional horse racing.
Thousands of people flocked to the Sengeda field to watch the traditional horse races held by the local government.
Horse racing is an annual agenda and has been a hereditary tradition for people in the Gayo Highlands since the first.
Some of them came from outside the area to bring their families to witness the appearance of the brave little jockeys while racing horses.
They made plastic tents to protect themselves from the scorching sun so they could watch the horse races with their families. They seemed to adorn the surroundings of the racetrack.
Meanwhile in the stands, thousands of people sheltered under colorful umbrellas ranging from small children to adults gathered there.
Along the guardrail, spectators could be seen impatiently waiting for the horses to race.
One by one the horses began to be herded inside, a sign that the race was about to begin.
A group of people seemed to be herding their horses into the starting box.
When all the horses have entered the box, and the horse is released..
The cheers of the crowd roared with encouragement to the jockeys and their chosen horses.
This is a traditional horse racing tradition that is still preserved in Gayo land.
Gayo Lues always shows something unique, I like living there for vacation,,
