Rodjali is a senior artist. Gambang Kromong is a musical art from Betawi. Gambang kromong is played to accompany the lenong performance. In addition, Gambang Kromong can also perform songs and vocal instruments.
As an older Betawinese, Rjali has aspirations for Gambang Kromong to be preserved and preserved. So that Rojali continues to motivate his children and grandchildren to continue to practice developing Betawi cultural arts without stopping.
He is grateful that his consistency in the art of xylophone kromong is still in demand by the public.
and I saw this when I was in Rojali's studio when I made a cultural documentary some time ago.
Many students are serious about studying, Gambang Kromong.
The children seemed adept at playing a number of musical instruments such as the sam hian, drum, Chinese fiddle, to boning limda which blended beautifully into a Betawi cultural art entity that still exists today.
Rojali tries to maintain and advance Betawi art so that it is not lost by the times.
