This post is about my journey to documenting the life of traditional fishermen, of course by taking pictures of fishermen when they are on the beach.However, the tradition of catching fish on the coast is arguably unique. Generally, people in Aceh Province call it Tarek Pukat
Most fishermen do find fish by fishing, some by netting fish or by trawling using a special boat that operates in the middle of the sea.
Traek trawls are carried out by first spreading long trawls in the sea using wooden boats by several fishermen.
then a fisherman holding a rope on the shore. then the boat returned to the beach.
After that, a number of traditional fishermen began to pull the trawl ashore.
