Workers carry wooden blocks to be assembled at a traditional wooden shipyard for shipbuilding and repair of fishing boats. The activities of traditional wooden shipbuilding workers can be found on the coast of Lhokseumawe, Aceh Province.
That afternoon I visited the location of the traditional shipyard just wanting to make photos of fishermen's stories.
There are many wooden boats there that are in the process of being repaired. Several workers are working on the process of rehabilitating fishing boats in traditional shipyards
by patching aluminum zinc on wooden ship hulls for those that are starting to get damaged.
Others were seen cleaning the ship's rocky hull, while several others were painting traditional wooden ships
