Warrios milking

This is my entry for #monomad challenge by @monochromes.

I have introduced Rendille tradition and culture in this post: Rendille tribe.

Here I will show one of the main activities of Rendille warriors (men and women): milking camels each morning. Warriors take care of the village, protecting the camels and the community, and searching and collecting water to feed animals and people.

Here you can see a warrior while milking a camel, helped by a child.

Warriors use to wear a sort of wooden skirt, colorful bracelets and other typical ornaments and sticks.
They can't speak, only if necessary.

These activities is a service to help and improve community life, and it lasts about ten years.

Children are helping to collect milk.

Elder people collect milk, very useful for diet, pouring it inside old smaller bottles:

After working, children are free to game and show us their impressive agility!

Thank You very much for participating and for being part of the Black And White Community!Congratulations. Today's #monomad third place is yours.

Wow! Thank you!

The ways of the Rendille tribe are really beautiful and their culture is also stunning. I like that they they milk the cows and that makes them drink plenty of milk for healthy bones.😊

Really! Thank you! By the way, they are camels, not cows 😀😘

Whenever the pictures are converted to black and white, their beauty increases a lot, but here in our city too, people take camels and take their milk out of the market.

Black and white is good in these pics, but also colors were wonderful! It is why I have left one pic in nuance color.

I really enjoyed these black and white photos. You made my day

Thank you very much!

Whenever I read your posts, I wish I could be in all of those places, speaking the language of Nature.
They seem to keep mainly camels, for milk and for transportation yeah?
