A while ago, we noticed the fan in my room was being over. That thing had resisted for quite some time. It was there since High School. It survived the blackouts of 2019 and was still working in some capacity. It had a surgery. One day, I kicked it and the head fell off.
The surgery repaired this issue, but it could not move like it previously did. It also came back heavier than it was. Anyways, it started to show signs of damage last year. It wouldn't start right away once it was turned on. This was a problem. Sometimes the A/C breaks down and the only way to stay in the room the using the fan.
One day, mom came back with this new fan. In a funny way, it came in pieces so or needed to be put together in order to work. And I love to assemble and disassemble things. I put my hands to it and there you have the results.
This fan is light. It had a big base so it isn't liketu to bend over. It has different controls. That has to do with the aesthetics of the brand. There's no big control box over the body. The controls are on the head. There one rotating switch to turn it on and the plug to give the head the chance to spin. The cover of the blades is also different. It is plastic and if comes with only one clip. The rest gets in place with pressure. That's a nice change to the usual metallic guards that tend to oxidize when you clean them. Overall, it is a nice appliance.
