Yesterday was an amazing day. We gathered as the literary group had some things to discuss. But it couldn't have been done in a better than going to one of our beloved teacher's house. Located near the river, this place is brimming with details. I have never been in a house with such a developed aesthetic. Everything in the place has a story and a reason for being in its place.
Among beers, discussions, convoluted topics, food and friends, we had an amazing Sunday. I took interest in the collection of succulents that are all in one big metal rack. There are so many all together and looking amazing as a decoration of the yard. I gotta add this yard was the place of the meal and the center of the reunion.
And as the self-proclaimed photographer I believe myself to be, I had to take a chance to capture some of the tiny beauty of these plants. I have a succulent at home, but I can see why people get lots of them. If you keep them contained and tiny, they are amazing as a group. It feels like you have a piece of life from different ecosystems. In reality, succulents are usually from the same kind of environment. But their different looks and adaptations make them easily distinguishable from other plants.
I have more photos of the food and other details in the house, but succulents are the focus of these ones. And of course, when watching plants, some will have the urge to steal them. I prefer to watch them and take some shots.
