Hello there, black-and-white photography lovers!

It's been a long standing tradition for the city for quite some time. Las Noches de Antaño is an event held during the last days of November, close to the city's foundation anniversary. It is a look to the past of Cumaná during these modern times. It used to be massive. The colonial part of the city was adorned and the streets filled with stands with traditional foods, drinks, dresses and other related topics.

This was the first time I attended the event. As I was both helping with some things at Casa Ramos Sucre and also wanted to spend some time along my dear @octocel. She made some postcards with some important sights in town and those were sold during these nights. Gotta say, I have a knack for getting people to buy things. Maybe I should be a seller.

Anyways, during those two nights, I took some interesting photos while daylight was still on and while we were under the cover of the dark. The stands and other things gave a better look during the afternoon hours. There are other things that looked better during the night.

Here I selected a few photos of the daytime. There are some nice things to look. Some of them remind me of my childhood years visiting my grandparents' house. We never went to these events because they were really late and a lot of people gathered in the place. There's not a lot of people walking the streets nowadays and it was still a pain to walk from place to place.

However, it was quite a fun activity. At least, it is one that gives you a lot of things to see and photograph.

It looks like a trip back in time... I love it! I really love it especially the sewing machine.... fond memories of my grandmother and my great aunt. Thank you!

There were a lot of sewing machines around. They looked amazing!
