Memories, memories

in Black And White3 days ago

When I woke up in the morning, I encountered winter. When I went to bed the other day, it was almost spring. One night, everything changed.

Winter is beautiful, and I like it, but not when I start dreaming of summer. Summer is gorgeous, too, but that's not why I dream about it.

The sea is to blame!

When it's spring, I know the sea is coming, and I feel good. I got scared when I saw the snow that fell one night.

I was once again forced to appeal to memories.

My memories are always only in black and white!

The sea I can afford is the Black Sea. It's not a tropical or Mediterranean sea, but it has its beauty, not with black waters; it has blue and emerald waters.

Balchik is a small town and bay on the Black Sea in Bulgaria.
The Kingdom of Romania chose this place for their summer residence. What is left behind is a castle and a garden. You can see the surroundings and the sea from the upper terraces of the garden.

At the top of the garden are several villas, once home to royal family guests. They are now accommodations for young people.

Around these villas are beautiful gardens designed according to the wishes of Queen Maria of Romania.

The queen chose the site for the castle and gardens and bought a whole hill with many springs. There was enough water to build small ponds and even a few waterfalls. Where there is water, there is life.

I've walked dozens of times in the Queen's Gardens, feeling that I'm stepping where she used to walk.

Queen Mary is the historical personality I like the most, and I respect her the most, which often makes me exaggerate her merits. No one is perfect, but that does not diminish my admiration. I can say that the sea and Queen Mary are the two reasons I chose Balchik for my summer vacation.

Marea - La Mer - The Sea

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

I rely mostly on photos in all my blogs. Words don't help me as much as photos.

I always start with photos when I want to write a blog. Photos remind me of places, events, and feelings that turn into words. When I post in Photography Lovers the words have even less importance, they are a companion to the photos I want to show. This often makes the story uninteresting or common, yet it is necessary; otherwise, the photos would merely be a series of unexciting images.

I make this statement as a plea to those reading not to over-judge the text and to focus on the photos. The story puts everything in context and provides the explanations and clarifications necessary for the blog to convey something of interest to the reader.

Since we all love photography, let’s explore the captivating details captured in these photos.!

A wise saying goes that a photograph is worth a thousand words, but I don't think so.

It depends on the viewer.

The weather is just like this, this time it is changing a lot, here in February it used to be very cold in our city, now the weather is warm.

I'm glad you bring new evidence that these changes are global.

Some amazing pictures my friend, I really enjoyed some of the scenery you presented to us👍

Thanks for the feedback, I enjoy it when I find out if I have chosen the photos well, especially when they are black and white.

What beautiful gardens! I love it, it's a beautiful walk and the last photo is mysterious and precious!🤗

Excellent photos!

Thank you!

Nice memori.

That is a great place for your memories, at least it will be a dream for you during the inder for the summer, or something that you will wait for spring time.
you could now walk in the place where it used to be only for the royal family. : )

Thank you!

I'm looking forward to getting there again, probably in May.
