French Coast in B&W - This is my entry for the #monomad challenge

in Black And White3 years ago

The weather is slowly getting better again, the days are getting longer, and I feel the need to go to the coastal areas rising again. We have our own coastline in Belgium, but unfortunately, it is totally closed by buildings and boardwalks, removing the beautiful natural sight of it, and the feeling of humbleness you get when you are walking on a real beach. Therefore, we mostly go to the coast of France or The Netherlands whenever we get the chance.
The pictures you see here are from a visit from last fall, right before the bad weather came rushing into the mainland. You can already see it coming.

Opal Coast is a beautiful stretch of coastline in France, with dramatic cliffs and sparkling waters, is a breathtaking site to walk on. The beach at Cap Blanc Nez is a popular spot to walk at sunset, and it's easy to see why - the views are simply stunning.
Whether you're taking in the view from the sand or from one of the nearby cliffs, there's something special about walking on the beach and watching the sun set.
The sand is white and the water is a deep blue, both of which reflect in the many opal stones that line the shore.
The views are simply stunning, and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore is soothing. There are also many restaurants and cafes nearby should you need a break from all the beauty, if you go just a little inwards, in the small pitoresque villages, with hidden gems, such as the church.

This is a beautiful place to visit, with a stunning view and great atmosphere.
