then I remembered I was in Texas.

So many questions, one answer. Why does it suddenly smell like shit? Why do the rest stops consist of dumpsters and picnic tables? Why is everything so goddamn flat?

First time I drove through there on I-40 I somehow managed to completely miss it, these are from my second pass that way.

I thought Texas roads were pretty good, but it wasn't enough to make me want to stay. I bet the roads are only good because it's so flat.

I think you're right. If I hadn't drove through Kansas first I wouldn't've thought it was possible for land to be so flat. With all the cancer those wind turbines cause, I don't know why anyone would want to stay.
