Once upon a time there was a star
The star lived alone in a rather trashy
and long-forgotten little galaxy park
far from the Galactic Center
and nowhere close to any of the other up-and-coming stars
The star was approaching middle age
and starting to wonder how much longer
it could keep converting matter into energy
at such a rapid rate like that for crappy pay
before it ran out of steam and snapped
The star was thinking
maybe it's time to make a change
Maybe it's time to set something on fire
to set everything on fire
and walk away
But then right at the last second
right then before that yellow dwarf went all red giant on us
right before everything went and snapped forever
another star stepped in and said
hey—
here's a sunset shot for ya:
I remember that day. I can't see colors like you so it looked slightly different but I remember it.
I know you want me to ramble right here about something but I'm not going to.

Looks like a nice place, I might go camping there sometime.
Might I say I might go there if you might and I might not talk like this.
You might, if I'm being honest.
Isn't there some saying like love is the greatest power of all. I think the moral of this story is distraction is the greatest power of all. And it is sort of like love in how it causes lots of problems - like how I had to stop typing this midway in order to eat a cinnamon roll and completely lost my train of thought and then had to regain it - but also is really effective at making us also not focus on bad things.
Random thoughts while eating cinnamon rolls at 3 o'clock in the morning. Good god, it's 3 o'clock in the morning.
Goodnight.
Crap, did I accidentally write a story with a moral again? I gotta stop drinking and writing.
Sounds about perfect, love it! :D

It was a pumpkin cinnamon roll, still warm from the oven, dripping semi liquid cream cheese frosting onto my lap and it was perfect. And I miss it.
Burn them all!
Yes! Everything must burn! Sending all my Hive to @null right now!
!PIZZA
Hold your horses!!
Send them to me. I will burn them. :p
Too late. I just burned a billion Hive.
cancels Lambo order... dammit
Is that one of the 'Twin Lakes' in the that first photo?
Actually no, but now that you ask it definitely does resemble the Twin Lakes in black & white :) I took it from where I was camping for this post, overlooking the valley near Buena Vista. That's Princeton on the right. Here's the original:
Ah, gotcha. Looks a little different in color, I like that even better.
Thought you was up there somewhere but it didn't seem quite right. When I was in the area I turned off onto 82, gonna have to explore a little further south the next time I make it out that way.
Nice! Yeah Twin Lakes is a pretty sweet area. Looks like you got that shot from the parking lot or somewhere thereabouts. Did you see the cop car with the mannequin in the front seat? Guess what the mannequin's name is?
Manny.
Yeah, I'd parked in the parking lot and wandered off from there. Didn't get very far before a storm rolled in. I didn't see the cop car or else I'd have had to get photos of that. Don't think a facepalm even does justice to Manny...
Oh and congrats on hitting the big 7-oh! Must've been recent but I just now noticed.
!PIZZA party!
Thanks! I think it happened last night, it was still 69 when I wrote my last post.
