Art can save us. Do you remember when in the midst of the pandemic, every online concert or piece of art, no matter how small, was a glimmer of hope? Well, for me, that is photography.
The world is moving very fast, we know that, but that moment where it's just the camera and me is key. Everything stops, and no matter how long it takes in the process, there is a peak that I must reach, maybe it's that photo I've been chasing forever or the exhaustion of doing it, but there it is.
It also doesn't matter if my photos go far or not, being able to freeze a moment that could be unique, I find it fascinating. I must try to convey in them even a pinch of what I feel, that's reason enough to continue wherever this takes me. For now, I would like to participate with them in the #monomad challenge.

El arte puede salvarnos. ¿Recuerdas cuando en medio de la pandemia, cada concierto online u obra de arte, por muy pequeñita que fuera, era un atisbo de esperanza? Pues eso para mí es la fotografía.
El mundo va muy de prisa, ya lo sabemos, pero ese momento donde solo estamos la cámara y yo, es clave. Todo se detiene, y no importa cuanto tiempo demore en el proceso, hay un punto álgido que debo alcanzar, tal vez sea esa foto eternamente perseguida o el cansancio de hacerlo, pero ahí está.
No importa tampoco si mis fotos llegan lejos o no, poder congelar un instante que pudiera ser único, me parece fascinante, intentar transmitir en ellas aunque sea una pizca de lo que siento, ya es motivo para continuar hasta donde sea que me lleve esto. Por ahora, me gustaría participar con ellas en el desafío #monomad.
