How's that content creation going y'all? Got them production lines running full tilt? With the way inflation is going, we'll all be rich millionaires soon! Does anybody know if lambos come in camouflage?
Ever notice how most (non-HIVE) content exists for the purpose of selling advertising? Take the much maligned 'media' for example, their whole business model revolves around drawing viewers so that they can charge more for advertising. Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity may be garbage humans but they're damn good advertising salesmen. "Objective" "Unbiased" "Spin-free," it's all just branding.
Television, websites, if it's not actively selling you something it's trying to draw you in so they can charge the ones who are even more. Welcome to the United States of Advertising, Land of the Consumer, Home of the Afraid!
Here on the hive we don't have to worry about that, at least not yet. Bets on how long we can keep it that way? In the meantime I think I'll enjoy it while I can.
This post was sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Natural Resources and Cumberland Mountain State Park Just kidding, mostly. These photos are all from Cumberland Mountain State Park near Crossville, Tennessee. The park and the bridge/dam in the first and last photos were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps back in the 30s. The dam is actually the largest masonry structure built by the CCC.
That's enough reflections from me for a Wednesday, time to go see if anybody is selling options on slightly used New Year's resolutions.
Beautiful pictures
Thank you!
