Three hours of sleep.
Three hours of sleep and you can't even say three hours of sleep last night because last night is now tonight is now 4am dammit and in three hours the crows start barking and in four hours the alarm goes off.

I mean, come on, if you're gonna stay up two days in a row can't you at least do meth and clean the apartment like you've been "meaning" to do since last year?

You know work is gonna suck tomorrow, right?
Like it sucked today which is now yesterday.
Work is gonna suck today.
All because you think editing crow pictures and writing land boat travel stories and talking to other bird-loving adventure-junky artsy photography writer music nerds like you on peakD is a better use of your time than sleeping.

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge, held daily in the Black and White Community.
Give it a try. And then go back to sleep.

All the stuff (pictures, words, etc.) I put in this post and any of my other posts is mine (unless otherwise stated) and can't be used by anyone else unless I say it's ok. Talking in my sleep doesn't count.

OMG, the photos! Those are beautiful @corvidae, took my breath away. I love the way you wrote this, totally resonates with me. I see we have similar habits, LOL!

Thank you!!! When I saw the pro-hive posts that @brandt and @nonameslefttouse made, I wanted to get on that train, too, in my own weird way. Of course, in my delirium I accidentally conjured up the voices of people I would rather forget. Luckily that crow was stronger than all that and walked away.
Be like crows.

Still delirious, a little.

NIGHT OWLS FOREVER!!!

I'm so pro-Hive that Hive is pro-Me, if that makes any sense. Nice crow photos.

Hive is definitely pro-you. In fact, I saw it driving down the 24 with an I ❤️ the Brandts bumper sticker yesterday. Wish I'd gotten a picture to post in Picture a Day.

Nice crow photos.

Thanks!

That sounds like a mighty fine bumper sticker. I bet it's got an air freshener with my profile pic on it too.

HA! I would absolutely own one of those if you made it happen. Just don't do that piña colada scent. Gross.

Your own weird way works wonderfully wild! The power of the crow, channel that.

NIGHT OWLS FOREVER!!!

HEAR HEAR, SECONDING WITH A CHEER!

I'll channel the power of crow, you channel the wily wonky wondrous power of W.
WOOOOWEE!

😂😂😂 Done!

DOUBLE WOOOOOOOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

🤣 croWWWWWWW poWWWWWWerrrrrrr!

With our powers combined we can take over the world, I bet. Do good things for good people. Especially the lost ones.

😂 YES!

Calls the Ravens to join!

I love that second one. Really looks like a lady in black pointy boots swirling her black cloak off. Maybe half bird/half lady, kind of like a vampire turning into a bat. Maybe you actually are a crow-lady, and this is a self-portrait. So many possibilities.

LOL! She's a hottie huh. Or he. I'm not sure. They are one of this mated pair that look so much alike and I constantly confuse them. I think they're possibly incestuous. Their babies look a little derpy. Oh look there I go on a crow tangent! What I meant to say was thanks! And that I've been sketching out an idea for a crow lady (with boobs because people like boobs)... mindreader.

True, people do like boobs. I like boobs, and I'm not even attracted to women. Something artistic about them - I went through a nude painting phase. There are quite a few pairs of boobs in this house as a result. I was going to put a picture here, but decided that it might not be good etiquette to leave paintings of NSFW things randomly as comments;)

I look forward to your crow lady.

Please do! Please please please feel free to leave pictures of artboobs on my posts any time. If anyone gets mad at you, I'll tell them it was my fault, that I was paying you to do it to boo[b]st my ratings.

I think I'm getting back into my nude arting phase after being out of it for years.

Haha! Tomorrow, when it isn't almost 3 o'clock in the morning and I am not adding to my sleep deprivation suffering, I will have to take some boob painting pictures so that I am ready for the next boob-ortunity:)

I think it is something that never fully goes away for women that are creative. Something about being a woman and embracing that female sexual energy. It is fun.

Very fun! And the curves are soothing to draw. I look forward to it. Maybe I can put a disclaimer at the bottom of posts, CAUTION, COMMENTS MAY BE NSFW, SCROLL AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Birds of a feather.

I like that disclaimer idea. Who knows what it will inspire:)

Which lens are you using? Feather details are always mind blowing, welcome to the insomniac club.

LOL I love how you are welcoming me to my OWN CLUB. 🤣 I invented insomnia, I'll have you know. And I am constantly in the laboratory working up new and exciting strains and styles and flavors to make sure there's always something for everyone.

I mean, Nikkor 300mm. It came in a kit with my D7500. It helps that I have a good relationship with the crows and can get closer than someone else with a lens that stubby. Still wish I had something longer that let in more light. Crows are a seriously challenging subject!

LOL I love how you are welcoming me to my OWN CLUB

Ha, admit how welcoming I am :P I just love to make people comfy. Do not hesitate to share the potion, I'm always up for new updates as I'm blindly (not) following trends.

Love the details and what are you doing with it, there I'm bolding myself on this one.

Thanks! How bold of you.
I'm obsessed with details. Or maybe just self-criticism.

Those are some great crow shots, I love the shine and gimmer you get on the crow from the lighting. Well done!

Thank you! We have lots of grey days here in the winter but sometimes the haze is just right for black and white.
