Food. Lots of food. I'll trade you for a couple pretty poses.
Good deal.
What do you want?
Me? I dunno. I keep asking myself that lately.
Do you want food?
Ugh. Always.
Do you want to fly?
Yeah. I have a way I do that, kinda. I strap wings on my feet and fly on frozen water. It's expensive.
Do you want to live with us on this beach on this beautiful island in the north forever and always?
Sometimes. Often. Especially when I go back home.
Why don't you?
Can't fly here. Not my way, anyway. Plus it costs too much, and they won't let me live on the beach with you guys so long as I'm an invasive primate bound by the laws of social conduct.
Lame.
Tell me about it. I'd be totally stoked to grow black feathers and subsist on mussels and seabugs and nutty handouts from the folks across the estuary and pick on the seagulls.
It's a good life.
No shit.
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge, held daily in the Black and White Community.

In many ways, we are the lamest of earth's creatures.
Yes, quite literally we have rendered much of our population too lame to participate in life outside our human bubble.
I still like the human animal, though. We just have a lot to learn about everything we're trying to forget.
Thank you, @brumest and @qurator team! I greatly appreciate all the support you give to my work.
Thank you @visualshots and @wilfredocav!! Much appreciated!
Congratulations. Today's #monomad third place is yours.
Thank You very much for participating and for being part of the Black And White Community!
How much does it cost to skate? The stuff on my bike is also very expensive.
I know what I want, and it's too simple. So simple that it seems impossible.
Most of the high end rinks are $25 per public skate session, but they only have a couple hours a day. The ice I fly on isn't great, but I can pay $125 for 6 weeks of unlimited skating, 10-7-ish most days. Ice gets beat up pretty fast but I just pretend I'm pond skating.
Are there any ice rinks en la Havana?
What simplicity do you want?
I don't think that in a place like this there could be such a thing. It sounds like something far ahead of our time.
it is fair enough 🙂. I think.
To be alive and happy in the knowledge that everything I have been through has been worth it.
If you love who you are today because of it, then it was.
