Nice tour. I recognize some of these.
We spent all of December 2019 there, could see the Colosseum from our balcony. And right below us like right-right below us was the best focaccia bread in the whole got dang country! So good. Stayed until like the 3rd or 4th of January and then 2020 got real weird.
New Years Eve in Rome was special.
Thanks @dandays 😁
Cool you recognise some of them and stayed so long. You got a good feeling for the place.
Sounds you were lucky with the location for the focaccia 😎
We stayed in Trastevere. Outside of everything.
Yep… 2020 got weird indeed… “to say the least”
I can imagine it must have been something.
Oh nice, we had many coffee's in Trastevere. The fifth shot down, there's not a lot of roads that specific, I'm sure we walked through there a gajillion times. I forget the exact number now and don't feel like mining out my old content but something like 1,600 churches in Rome alone and I forget how many fountains now, I wanna say 400 or something not counting the Nasonis.
Ima pull up a google earth image and show you were we stayed on Via Del Serpente, about 2 miles from Trastevere.
Yep, we walked there too a couple of times, but can’t tell you where it was. The DSLR had no gps like phones do.
I know there are soooo many churches, just everywhere. To much to see them all. You surely wouldn’t want to live close to one hehehe 🤭
We stayed in Via Goffredo Mameli around # 30 just before the steps up the mountain. The far end, that way we could easily explore back streets. Also be a bit away from the busyness. 🤓
