[meh, that title is a bit cliché for my liking, but its 2:15AM, its high time I went to bed and my imagination has let me down...]
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
I've already mentioned the Studio set-up for these Tankspace images HERE, HERE and
HERE, so without further ado, thats crack on with the images from this set.
This is Ksenia, another new face and a model I had never worked with before.
We started with the Rain Set which featured these waterproof LED striplight things. I wasn't entirely convinced by these, but at this was the set up that was available, and hence we made the best of it.
They aren't bad, but I think they are a bit distracting to the final image... (the focal point should be the model, not the background lol)
In this next one I decided to edit the two outer lights out...
I think this works better by framing the model and making her the center of attention
In fact, how about trying one step further and cropping the lights out altogether?
That's more like it!
I think the low angle, the rain-drenched look and the staring into the distance look reminds me of some action film
(about 3/4 of the way in the movie, after our heroine has just had a catastrophic set back. After a brief internal dialogue, she stands up determined and full of resolve to finish the mission)
Maybe? Or perhaps I'm over thinking it!
After the rain set (and a quick outfit change) we moved to the Tank for the second part of the shoot.
It was Ksenia's first time underwater (as far as I was aware) and until the model gets in we don't know if we will get someone who finds it uncomfortable, or someone who feels right at home.
Ksenia was so comfortable I could have sworn she was a fish in an earlier life. If anything, she might have been too comfortable, and was whizzing backwards and forwards, pulling all sorts of shapes.
We asked her to slow down and hold a pose, and were able to get some better pictures accordingly.
This shoot actually happend 4 weeks ago but I've not really been feeling the motivation to edit them (because its such a huge job I guess). I'm gonna makea concerted effort to finish this so I can pass on the finished images to the models that took part, so be ready for 5 more posts to appear in the next week or so.
