These so called “snow circles” were made by dog sledding teams crossing and circling on top of frozen Goat Pond, Alberta. I’m not actually sure the reason behind the distinct circle, other then they were created for the thrill and enjoyment of the riders on the sleds. Sounds like fun (as long as it’s not too cold out).
