My contribution to the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes.
Last night when I was staying at my brother's chili farming hut in the village hills, at around 20.30 WIB, I saw a large fly or in Acehnese better known as dedekhung, they were standing on the surface of the hut wall illuminated by lamps and in common language perhaps these insects are better known as cicadasand of course, if we take a quick look at the texture and characteristics of their body shape, these insects have characteristics that are very close to flies.
In our area, during the dry season like now, if we enter the local forest, sometimes we can hear their distinctive sound which is very noisy due to its presence in the tall trees and last night I accidentally found this insect stuck to the wall of the garden hut and finally I took the opportunity to take a picture of the insect at close range using an external macro lens smartphone camera with a simple artificial light process.
And during the process of photographing them on the surface of the wall, my camera accidentally touched these insects so they flew into the grass area and I felt lucky enough to be able to find them again so I got the opportunity to capture shots of these insects in several shooting angles.
