monomad carpenter ants

Carpenter ants (Camponotus)

it's large ants maybe around 2.5cm. it moves fast thou keeps running. they like damp woods. they excavate it not eats the wood like termites. Carpenter ants play an ecological role by breaking down dead wood in forests.

I like shooting macro vs bird. one reason is the heavy lens. not easy to carry. like macro lens plus external flash.
