I met a fisherman in the river downtown that afternoon, he was no longer young, but when we chatted for a while, he was very pleasant. There is no burden to carry as it were. I also don't know for sure how many decades he has been pursuing this activity as an economic source for his small family.
After we chatted for a moment, he immediately stepped on the gas to the river bank, as if he didn't care about me anymore. His focus was just getting ready and starting to throw his fishing net. He continued to do so from the left side to the right side of the river.
I was busy trying to capture some moments of his fishing activities in the river, I made a number of these pictures for entries in this Monomad Challenge.
In this Monomad Challenge contest, I want to invite my friends to see some of Black and White photos caught by my camera; "Catching the Sun", Enjoy all the pictures presented to my friends in Black and white Community π
Immediately I remembered an old song by Ebiet G Ade (Indonesian old song) with the title "Menjaring Matahari", and the condition of the fishermen looked like the lyrics in that song. I brought it from YouTube here so you can listen while looking at some of the photos below.
