My friends and I often spend time waiting for dusk at the city center reservoir. This is a spot to enjoy the sunset in my city, the reservoir that was inaugurated by the Governor of Aceh in 2011 has changed the face of the city that used to be a slum, now it is quite neatly arranged in the area.
In addition to being a reservoir and water control during the rainy season, the reservoir is also a source of livelihood for local fishermen. There are so many fish cages that are used for freshwater fish cultivation, so it is not surprising that while waiting for the sunset, the passing of fishing boats is a special attraction.
This afternoon the weather that was previously bright suddenly began to be covered in dark clouds, February is indeed a bit disappointing for sunset lovers in my city. The weather often changes, initially bright; then turns cloudy to swallow the afternoon sun.
I tried to capture some images and make them as entries in this Monomad Challenge. Hopefully these images will get support from friends in the Black and White community.
