Greetings friends, today I want to share with you some pictures of the train station "Ministro Carranza", it is a station that has very little movement of people, it connects with the subway station that has the same name but for now it is closed for modernization. I was walking around this area and decided to go in to take some pictures since it is a very unusual place where I really didn't plan to go.
At that moment I stayed a few minutes observing and thought I could get some interesting shots, because of the tracks and the vegetation on the other side and the angles. In photos 2 and 3 you can see a C-shaped building in the background, that is to say it is curved, if you look closely you can see it.
I decided to walk there to photograph this building with more details and close up.
Curved Brutalist Building.
This building belongs to the Brutalist style of architecture, meaning that the construction is made with raw materials, a simple construction without many details or luxuries, let's say rather a bit rudimentary. This emerged in the 50's after the Second World War to promote the reconstruction of buildings and institutions that were devastated as a result of the wars.
It's considered as raw art.
This is how this building called Torre Dorrego, located in the Palermo neighborhood of the city of Buenos Aires, was built. It is just over 100 meters high and has 32 floors, occupied by residential apartments and built in a period of 3 years between 1968 and 1971.
From the place where I was standing I tried to take several pictures where you could appreciate this unique curvature that they have given to this tower.
Here are some pictures 👇🏻🙂
Bonus Shots
When I finished taking these photos, I walked to take the transportation and decided to take some extra photos to other buildings in the area, without anything special or any story behind, just in the pure photographic field highlighting the angles, perspectives and trying to compose these images between the trees and the architecture of these additional modern buildings.
I also added a photo of the street where I was walking because I was struck by the light hitting that area of the neighborhood, so I imagined it in black and white and thought it could fit in this post to share it with all of you 🙂

BRUTALES!!
Muchas gracias bro 🙌🏻
These are just about perfect. Those leading lines are on point. You can almost feel how old the place it just by looking at them. Thanks for sharing. 😁
I'm glad you noticed that just by looking at the images, it's a good sign 😃 thanks for stopping by and for your comment 🙂
Such a perfect shot, I have nothing to say anymore.
For sure for me this photography is amazing.
Your bonus shots are also stunning.
Thanks for being here, friend! I really appreciate your kind words. 🙂
