For the second year in a row I joined my sister at the St. Augustine Celtic Music and Heritage Festival in St. Augustine, Florida. It was a great weekend and a great time to play with cameras.
As usual I brought five cameras, but the film isn't developed yet. So here are the digital shots taken with the T-Max film recipe.
One of the bands performing there has become a favorite of mine over the last year. I went from never hearing of them to memorizing all their songs within only a few weeks of last year's festival. The band is called Syr and the festival organizers aptly describe them as "high energy." They look phenomenal in black and white!
The music is a mix of Celtic folk and rock and goes from beautiful harmonies to thumping bass all within one bar.
This year they played two 1.5 hour sets, and they certainly did not disappoint!
Go give them a listen some time, I highly recommend the most recent album. And if you ever get a chance to see them live, don't miss it!
