Casting the hook || Monomad

in Black And White3 months ago

Hello friends of black and white, and fishing enthusiasts. On this occasion I want to share with you some images, and with them I make my entry to the daily challenge #monomad, of the exercise, hobbit or sport of fishing in the wall of the bay of the city where I live. I had to pass by the Havana Malecon, the oldest part of the city and I did not hesitate to take my camera. Almost at noon, with 34 degrees Celsius behind me and with a relative humidity around 70%, some fishermen were there, placidly, on the wall.

In this part of the city, usually between 10 to 20 fishermen gather regularly, but not that day, there were very few indeed. Perhaps unfortunately the incipient pollution that I noticed in the waters of the bay were to blame.

I had the opportunity to capture a father-grandfather teaching the child to cast the reel hook into the water, it was very good to see this action in these days, where many teenagers do not take off their cell phones and do not socialize in a natural way, with human contact. I hope you like this photographic proposal. See you!

Thanks to the @qurator team, especially @brumest! 👍

What a great job... I loved it. I like to see people's expressions, very much. As well as the details of the things they are doing.

👌

I'm glad you liked it. In the first photo the fisherman wasn't too happy with the camera, but then I talked to him and he softened up, it looks like he hadn't fished for a while, and I understand. Have you seen the bay recently?

I have not gone beyond Prado. I went along the Malecón on one of my bike rides, from Prado to 12 in Vedado.
