Hello hivers and passionate about black and white photography. With these images I want to make my entry in the daily challenge #monomad. This time I propose captures made in the historic center of the city and not precisely to its architecture, but to some old means of transport that work wonderfully today. Many have surely heard that Havana is a rolling museum and it is indeed so. And I would dare to say that all of Cuba is. And it's not that here they love old cars madly, it's that due to many government restrictions over the years they have shaped today's automotive scene on the island.
The owners and drivers of these cars have literally worked magic with their cars to keep them rolling for so many long years. This has led to a vintage look in terms of transportation in almost every city in this country. Right now that is something exotic, unique in the world, to see so many cars from the 40's and 50's flooding the streets in the middle of 2024. In some cases the owners have not been able to keep these relics and have changed them for some even older means of transportation, jjjj. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I did, see you!

Wow... These classic cars really still look very good, in my area classic cars I have never seen again, especially since the cars produced in the 40s are really beautiful.
Good shot my friend.
A real rolling museum is Havana. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! 💪
Thanks to the @qurator team, especially @brumest! 👍
Awesome photos, especially that portrait of the horse. Excellent work, thank you very much for sharing!
Actually the horse was very calm, sometimes I thought it was sleeping. Although there was a bit of shadow the shot was not bad. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! 👍
Between classic cars and horses it is as if it were another era and even more so in black and white, but that is the magic of Cuba. Greetings !
Likewise, there are moments when the only thing you see are old cars, it seems like you are in a time machine. Magical moments! Thanks for commenting! 👍
