My Old Havana || Monomad

in Black And White7 months ago

Hello black and white lovers, and the neighborhoods and buildings of yesteryear. After several days without posting I'm here with this visual proposal and with it I want to enter the daily challenge #monomad. Walking through neighborhoods whose buildings were built more than 80 years ago is fascinating, and even more so, especially for photography if these buildings already feel the crushing passage of time. They fascinate me because of the visual tear in the air, although it is a bit dangerous. Sometimes when I walk through some areas of Old Havana I do it in the middle of the street, and not a few buildings are in very bad condition and their balconies scream at the top of their voices: repair or demolition!

But to take really interesting pictures it is a perfect scenery, as well as the combination of its people with the environment, really are unique, real and wonderful scapes. The contrasts of light and shadow especially in the morning on these streets are spectacular, as well as the human warmth. The evident push of nature on the facades is another common visual here, living concrete we could say. I hope you like this selection of images, see you soon!

It is certainly striking to see these buildings with very old constructions, certainly beautiful photographs with a lot of history.

I love to photograph these streets, every time I go there I try to go with my camera. It is living history. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. 👍
