Perhaps for a foreigner it is interesting to walk through these streets and experience this strange and wonderful visuality, and it is also for me, I confess, but this feeling of hopelessness accompanies me every time I walk through the area.

Hola apasionados del blanco y negro y de la fotografía callejera. Sinceramente La Habana Vieja es un escenario infinito para la fotografía con una buena dosis dramática. Y lo expreso con tremenda tristeza, veo que cada día el deterioro y el abandono de todo tipo se apodera del lugar como una sombra eterna, acompañada de oportunas miserias. Quizás para un extranjero sea interesante caminar por estas calles y experimentar está visualidad extraña y maravillosa, y también lo es para mí, lo confieso, pero este sentimiento de desesperanza me acompaña también cada vez que paseo por la zona. De cualquier forma sigue siendo un escenario muy rico para cine, fotografía y vídeo. Un ambiente vivo, en constante movimiento humano, eso sí, mucho calor humano y en la lucha como decimos por acá.
