This first photo is inside a public transport bus (almost). The truth is that the bus was rented by the newlyweds, Verónica and Luis, to facilitate the transfer of several family members to their wedding reception. Obviously, for me, this represented an opportunity to take some atypical photos, and adding other photos, we made a good session. However, my editor saw this first photo I'm sharing with you as a problem because it had several issues, like the light temperature (which varied a lot due to the tinted windows) and high ISO. This seemed like a big mistake to me because this was the photo I saw as the most important.
Esta primera foto es dentro de un bus de transporte público (casi). La verdad es que este bus lo alquilaron los novios, quienes son Verónica y Luis, y el motivo era facilitar el traslado de varios familiares a la recepción de su boda. Obviamente, para mí esto representaba una oportunidad para hacer unas fotos atípicas y, sumando otras fotos, hicimos una buena sesión. Pero mi editor vio esta primera foto que les comparto como un problema, ya que tenía varios inconvenientes como la temperatura de la luz (que variaba mucho debido al papel ahumado de las ventanas) y un alto ISO. Esto me parecía un gran error porque esta era la foto que yo veía más importante.
My editor is not new; he has been working with me for quite some time, and I have a relationship with him beyond just work. I think this is the problem because, to me, this is a serious mistake as he does not share the same vision of the final product as I do. This means I always have to step in (sometimes with a lot of effort) on the materials he edits because he doesn't apply the same care to all the photographs that need more attention. But it's interesting that where some see a problematic photograph, others see one with a lot of potential. I would like to know your opinion on this: Is a good photograph one that is perceived immediately, or one that holds potential in post-production?
Mi editor no es nuevo, lleva bastante tiempo trabajando conmigo y sostengo una relación con él más allá de lo laboral. Y creo que este es el problema, porque para mí esto es un error bastante grave, ya que no está teniendo la misma visión del producto final que yo. Esto provoca que siempre tenga que meter la mano (a veces con demasiado esfuerzo invertido) en los materiales que él edita, porque no aplicará el mismo mimo que yo a todas las fotografías que necesitan una mayor atención. Pero es interesante que donde unos ven una fotografía problemática, otros ven una fotografía con muchísimo potencial. Me gustaría saber su opinión sobre esto: ¿una buena fotografía es una que se percibe de inmediato o una que guarda potencialidades en la post-producción?
This wedding is one of those that didn't stand out for many factors, but it did have consistent quality in the entire set of delivered material. I am sharing other photos for you to enjoy, but I would really like to know your opinion on what I mentioned above.
Esta boda es una de esas que no destacó por demasiados factores, pero sí una donde su calidad fue bastante constante en el material completo que se entregó. Les comparto otras fotografías para que las disfruten, pero sí me gustaría saber su opinión sobre lo que arriba comento.

Pues yo vi la primera y segunda foto y me parecio supeeer rara y "atipica" como tu dices, si la intencion fue crear una foto disruptiva pues lo lograste totalmente, en mi caso me gustaron muchisimo mas las otras fotos, estas fueron mi favoritas:
Es cierto lo que comentas y tu apreciación es correcta. Pero esas fotos, son fotos que muchos fotógrafos de boda ya han hecho. Es por eso es que, en el nicho de la fotografia de bodas, los fotografos que mas destacan buscan este tipo de situaciones que atípicas o componer con objetos, marcas o lugares que no son típicos de una boda. Haz visto una cuenta de fotografos que se llama Mywed? (te recomiendo el trabajo de gente de rusia)
