I took these photos as a gift for Dayana when she was about to give birth. I offered her the photos because I was also experimenting with some new elements at the time—my homemade beauty dish and shiny silk-like fabrics.

Photography, to me, is an art that involves people and the act of truly taking an interest in them. In this case, these photos were a gift, but I genuinely appreciate when people choose to spend an afternoon with me, allowing us to create something together.
