For many, reaching old age is a stage where one can feel insecure, vulnerable, and reflective about what they leave behind. Tania is a woman who felt much freer to pursue what she enjoys and take it seriously.
Para muchos, llegar a la tercera edad es una etapa en la que te puedes sentir muy inseguro, vulnerable y reflexivo sobre lo que dejas. Tania es una mujer que se sintió mucho más libre de hacer aquello que disfruta y tomárselo en serio.
I am 31 years old and constantly struggle to build routines around the things that fulfill me and make me feel whole. I often feel that time has passed and I haven’t accomplished anything, but that’s not true. I have achieved things I’m very proud of and continue to discover more about myself.
Yo tengo 31 años de edad y lucho constantemente por hacer rutina de las cosas que me llenan y me hacen sentir completo. Siento que el tiempo ha pasado y yo no he hecho nada, pero no es cierto. He logrado cosas de las que me siento muy orgulloso y sigo descubriendo cosas de mí.
The years will keep passing, and I believe there’s no need to fear not achieving anything. We accomplish many things every day, and as long as you are on a personal journey, you will never stop moving forward, feeling alive and valuable. I write this short reflection to encourage myself and to always give strength to my future self.
Los años seguirán pasando, y me parece que no hay que tener miedo de que no lograremos nada. Logramos muchas cosas todos los días, y si estás en tu búsqueda personal, nunca dejarás de avanzar, de sentirte vivo y valioso. Escribo esta pequeña reflexión para dar ánimo y darle ánimo siempre a mi yo de los futuros días.
