Ceremony photographs at weddings are where I love to experiment with black and white. Sacred spaces, with their architecture and symbolism, offer the perfect opportunity for a black-and-white image to take center stage or hold a deeper meaning.
Las fotografías de ceremonia en bodas son fotografías donde me gusta jugar mucho con el blanco y negro. Estos lugares sacros, con su arquitectura y simbolismos, ofrecen la oportunidad de que una fotografía en blanco y negro gane protagonismo o un significado más profundo.
Black-and-white photography takes us back to a different time. If you think about it, every photo captures a moment that has already passed, even if it’s just a fleeting instant. I find it fascinating how photography inherently connects to the past, and how this connection becomes even more pronounced with black and white.
La fotografía en blanco y negro nos hace remontarnos a un tiempo pasado. Si piensas con detenimiento, toda fotografía hecha es un tiempo ya pasado, así sea el instante pasado. Así que me parece interesante esa relación con el pasado que tiene la fotografía y cómo esta se potencia aún más con el blanco y negro.
These photos are from the ceremony of clients I enjoyed working with, though, truth be told, it was a rather short coverage. I hope you like them.
