This is my entry for the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes
Another lucky day during my recent photowalk, because finally, I got so many photos of this particular insect. I have been trying to get photos of this little creature for some time, but when I was out for a photo walk in the afternoon, this guy was just so busy flying and only rested for a very short time. Although it usually doesn't flay that far from the spot, it is still super annoying to try to follow it, which then in the end will fly again once you get close.
Although I have done a few photo hunts in the morning, I have never seen this insect during those occasions, and that is why I said that I was quite lucky to be able to find him resting.
This little creature is most liekly to be the silvery leafcutter bee. Megachile leachella, also known as the silvery leafcutter bee, is a species of solitary bee in the family Megachilidae.
If you look at the way it was holding on the stick it was resting on, you could imagine the power of its teeth, that it will be used to cut the leaf.
Actually when I found it, it was resting on the dried stick quite high, I have to reach out my hand to be able to take some of the photo below.
Then I decided to pluck that dried branch very carefully so that the bee couldn't notice the distrubance, so that I could get a lot of photos from different angle.
The result was a success, becaause this little guy keep holding on that stick so that I could get a few more photo.
Even when I put it on the the leaf of another plant, it still sleeping or resting on the same stick. Maybe it was still too cold for this little guy to wake up and fly. :)

The survival instincts must also be kicking in that's why its tightly holding onto the stick lol. Definitely looks like a sturdy creature with strong features. Amazing picture angles :)
