Hey dear Hiveans, I hope you used your day well and had a nice time which hopefully was full of positive experiences. In this post I would like to present black and white pictures that I took in the forest for the new round of the #monomad challenge.
You can see here liverwort which is also scientifically called anemone hepatica and in the past I have already written an article about it, which contains all the important details. If you are interested in it and want to learn more about this enchanting flower, I can recommend you stop by here.
By the way, according to Greek mythology, there is an interesting legend about the origin of anemones. The goddess of love and beauty Aphrodite has fallen in love with Adonis, who is also considered a symbol of beauty. Adonis was killed by the war god Ares who had also fallen in love with Aphrodite and then she began to cry and the anemones emerged from her tears. There is also another story associated with the origin and Adonis, which I have already described in my other post.
The name of the genus anemone is also derived from the Greek word anemos, which means as much as the wind. I find it interesting to go deeper into the history and mythology of plants and it is simply interesting how many plants are associated with mythology from ancient times, at least for those who are also interested in this knowledge.
I am happy about every visitor and hope that I was able to construct my entry in an understandable and interesting way! I used my camera Sony Alpha 6000 and Sony SEL-55210 Telephoto Zoom Lens (55-210mm) to take these pictures.
Both the blak and white and the colored version looks really nice.
Happy that you like both versions :) I think it’s always good to present the color photo as well to see the transitions.
This liverwort give me remember of my college days. I have studied about it but your story about it was interesting.
I’m glad that my post connects you with memories from the past. Best Regards
All these flowers looks so beautiful and amazing. I like purple color flowers very much because their beauty is much more than other flowers.
Thanks a lot!
Most welcome dear.
Once again, this one is very attractive and very beautiful flower.
Thank you! :)
