Creepy, Gnarled Trees: This is my entry for the #monomad challenge

in Black And White8 months ago (edited)

I think most people like trees, but it's not just the beautiful trees that I appreciate. I particularly like the creepy, gnarled trees that others may find unattractive. They have a mystery about them. Their twisted branches could tell a story or two over the years.

When I was young and played in the local wood, I used the trees for various reasons, for climbing up them, making a swing from their branches, eating the fruit from them, and even waymarkers. If I saw a particular tree, I knew I was on the right footpath back home. If I didn't recognise it, I was lost!

Trees also offer a place for relaxation, be it in your local park or in a forest. They are great to be around whether you are out exercising or just wanting to be out amongst nature. Save the trees!

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
