Growing up the 80's in our small local community in Ekiti state, there was a man who appeared to be learned, exposed and good at analysing the stories of the dailies. He made himself famous through this, that he became very known by even the children.
His fame became even more popular after he was exposed by his closed friend by the name OKEMBE.
As his usual, he was at the popular daily vendor where he was reading news paper and analysing and interpreting to those who care.
While at it on that fateful day, his friend was passing, on sighting his friend, he quickly called him to come and hear the latest from the dailies. As his friend was approaching, he started with AWOLOWO HAS COME WITH HIS NORM, LOOK HOW HE'S WALKING ROUND THE WHOLE OF LAGOS WITH HIS HEAD, OKEMBE MY FRIEND COME AND SEE WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT.... his friend started laughing at him and calling everybody to come see their learned daily analyst who's reading newspaper while it's turned up-side-down.
Whenever i remember this and i flash back to the scene, i always thought about how to interpret it with photo.
My cousin who stays with me in the apartment understands the story very well since he's been told the story and getting the right costume will not be a big deal for me.
So i put my cousin(Sanusi) through and we arranged for the shoot and we came up with this.
