:) This is fine, indeed. But there is a line you can easily cross in winter: when depressive shots and texts stay in your head in the shape of depressive images and thoughts and never come out and, when someone calls you once a month, offering to meet, your answer is: "I don't know, maybe it is too complicated for me". So ... Winter is a dark adventure as I see... and not everybody will be a winner. Some lose their friends, family, and eventually sanity. In spring, they think: "was it a bad dream?" But they can't return the lost anymore.
I am typing this and smiling... But actually these things do happen.
Now that is a very depressing image you got here.
I know that further north, where winters are long and even darker it does become a problem. The Polish winters that I am used are ok (for me at least) and if there is snow they are not bad at all. But lack of light and sun can get to people.
I still like winters. And the cold. And snow.
And depressive fictional texts ;)
I understand. I lived in Georgia when I was a kid, winters were milder there, snow meant joy.
Diverse seasons are an inspirational thing anyway, new colours and feelings every 3-5 months.
Creative writing turns hardships into adventures so ... Writing and shooting for Hive will be a great thing to do in winter :)
