Hello everyone, how are you today, I'm back again with my black and white visuals that you might like and this is my entry for the #monomad challenge. this time I'm back with some black and white visuals that I made some time ago, this is the process of making a favorite culinary that people always hunt for in the month of Ramadan in Aceh, this culinary is called Leumang Bambu. This culinary is made from glutinous rice and a mixture of coconut milk, after being mixed, then the glutinous rice which is the basic ingredient for making this culinary is inserted into a bamboo stick that has banana leaves in it. after the process is complete, the workers will arrange the bamboo sticks filled with glutinous rice in a stove which will later become a place to roast the filled bamboo sticks which are then ready to be consumed with jam that has also been prepared by other workers. The process of burning bamboo Luemang is carried out in the morning, until noon. you can see how the smoke is billowing in that place, it's very difficult to make good visuals here because of the smoke that interferes with the vision. and I am in a state of fasting, as you know this is the month of Ramadan, as a Muslim it is my obligation to fast.
Leumang Bamboo is roasted for about an hour and with very strict care so that it doesn't burn and the glutinous rice inside the bamboo is a bit black, it's not very good if it is consumed later. so after the process is complete, the workers will carry a number of carts to sell this culinary as a menu for breaking the fast in a number of traditional markets in the city where I live. I only stayed in that place until noon, after I had to go home and rest and they would sell in the afternoon, because the rules for culinary traders in Ramadan are only allowed to sell in the afternoon until tonight, for morning and afternoon it is a prohibition because this is the holy month of Ramadan. As you know, Aceh is one of the provinces in Indonesia that applies strict Islamic law.
