Hello everyone, how are you today, I'm back again with my black and white visuals that you might like and this is my entry for the #monomad challenge. This time I'm back with some visuals that I made some time ago, this is a tradition when welcoming the holy month of Ramadan in Aceh, this tradition has been going on for hundreds of years, a tradition called Hari Meugang, which is a tradition for the people of Aceh to welcome the Moon Ramadan and Eid, also Eid al-Adha. This is a tradition that has been going on for hundreds of years, this tradition started from the sultanate in Aceh, when Meugang day arrived, during the sultanate, they slaughtered livestock and then distributed them to the community to take home. and cooked and enjoyed with the family. However, at this time the activity is still ongoing, but there is no further distribution from the government, but people do it by buying their own meat and then cooking it with their families.
As seen in the visual I shared, Acehnese people flock to traditional markets to buy meat. Wow, the atmosphere of the traditional market was very busy that day, many seasonal traders gathered there with their fresh meat merchandise sold by the kilo. It can be seen from the visual that I shared how busy it was that day when they crowded the market as a tradition to buy meat on the big day because the next day the holy month of Ramadan begins, and Muslims around the world will fast during the month of Ramadan.
Alright, guys, I'm a little bored and don't know what else to write, you guys also know I worship in Ramadan, so I don't have much time for this, but I still have time. to do it, because this is how I survive in a world going through a pandemic. I hope you are satisfied with the content I share this time, and I hope you enjoy seeing the visuals I share as photo essays from the tradition of celebrating the holy month of Ramadan in Aceh. have a nice day, and have fun.
