Just outside the city of Melbourne lies one of many cafes that cater for Melbournians insatiable need for coffee. However this one if different, for as you step for the rain and dreary grey of a cold Melbourne Street you are transported into a haven of light.

Chilean music pounds from the speaker and bright colors greet you from every wall. Items cover the walls and every surface and lush green plants abound from every direction.

The coffee is of course amazing, but only one size as it has been deemed that that size is best for this flavour of beans. And of course I always get a Portuguese tart, which is finished well before the takeaways coffee arrives.

It is with great sadness I turn my back on this sunny oasis and had back to the grey

All photos are my own, shot on my cameras and edited in lightroom

Beautiful, and yes Melbourne has the best coffee that I have ever tasted in the world. A close second is Chiang Mai, around which Arabica beans are grown in the cool climate.

Will have to try it out if I ever get out there, which country is Chiang Mai in?

Thailand! Also has the benefit of getting an amazing Americano for 40 baht (like $1.30 USD)

Wow once it all opens up, I will have to try and visit

Yay! 🤗

Hi friend @failingforwards

I love that place where you took the photos.

An eclectic place, with many different ornaments to spend a pleasant time of conversation with friends.

Very good picture.

A hug

Thank you so much it is a yummy place!

Another superb post. Love the signage and wooden crates. Right up my alley this is

Thank you, I do love a good cafe!

Great shots!! Do you know if the owners are Chilean? I’m curious!

I'm not sure but the staff speak alot of Spanish so hopefully some strong ties

I was mainly just wondering because my fiancée is Chilean and I’ve spent a fair amount of time living with her down there and was really curious if it was another’s take on Chilean culture or not! It’s just interesting because the county has a SUPER diverse culture; every part of it is different. Either way, awesome photos man!

Thank you! If that a small taste of the cultural count me in!

It's truly an incredible place. Cheers!
