Hello hivers. The black and white format requires appropriate light management, something that isn't always so easy to work outdoors since the direction from which it comes is out of our control, so we cannot always achieve the photos we have in mind.
Por lo general, cuando se trata de fotos amplias de la naturaleza, o sea, que no son fotos macro ni enfocadas en algo en particular, prefiero el formato a color porque los paisajes lucen mejor con las diferentes tonalidades que puede tener una montaña, un campo o un valle, sin embargo, cuando uno está aprendiendo, tiene que probar cosas variadas, y como estoy practicando este tipo de formato, pues es un buen ejercicio intentarlo y ver los resultados 😉.
Generally, when it comes to wide nature photos, that is, they aren't macro photos or focused on something in particular, I prefer the color format because the landscapes look better with the different tones that a mountain, a field or a valley have, however, when you are learning, you have to try various things, and since I am practicing this type of format, it's a good exercise to try it and see the results 😉.
En esta ocasión elegí fotos inéditas de una caminata entre montañas y valles que hice hace poco.
On this occasion I chose unpublished photos from a walk between mountains and valleys that I did recently.
En el poco tiempo que vengo experimentando con la fotografía en blanco y negro me parece que el color verde es el más difícil para pasar a este formato porque no resalta de una manera muy agradable, o será que soy muy exigente y no me convence mucho el cambio de las fotos donde predomina el color verde cuando las paso a monocromático jajaja 🤔.
In the short time that I have been experimenting with black and white photography, it seems to me that the color green is the most difficult to convert to this format because it doesn't stand out in a very pleasant way, or it could be that I am very demanding and I'm not very convinced by how they look the photos where the color green predominates when I change them to monochrome hahaha 🤔.
En este paseo todavía había mucha sequía ya que la temporada de lluvia no había empezado como debe ser así que el paisaje no era ni totalmente verde ni totalmente amarillo o seco, así que quizás esto ayudó en algo con la transformación de estas fotos al formato en blanco y negro jejeje.
On this walk there was still a lot of drought since the rainy season had not started as it should so the landscape was neither totally green nor totally yellow or dry, so perhaps this helped somewhat with the transformation of these photos to the black and white format hehehe.
