MonoKraków 48

in Black And White2 years ago

After what felt like an endless winter, spring has finally arrived in Krakow. The city is quickly turning green, and the air is filled with the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers. It's such a relief to be able to step outside without having to bundle up in layers upon layers of clothing.

Last Friday, I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and went for a walk with @foggymeadow. Our goal was to explore the area of the city that's located across the river, known as Dębniki. This part of town has always fascinated me because it feels like a different world compared to the busy and touristy Old Town. Life seems to move slower there, creating a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere that's hard to find elsewhere. Ten years ago I had the idea to proclaim a 'republic' there. Something similar to the Republic of Užupis in Vilnius. Unfortunately, nothing came of it....

PS. This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

You had a great walk that day and you capture them well in black and white.
