Ever since I was born, I only know about night and day. The day do clear (white) and night usually black.
Anytime I walked around in the day, I feel comfortable but I can't walk around at night because of the darkness. The day helps a lot because I can locate my shadow and this usually makes me feel free to play with my shadow but at night, I can't do that because the black shadow can not be seen in the darkness.
I asked a senior teacher, why do we like black and white and he replied "Check on the this white pair of shoes, can you see that the black that was used when written the product (NIKE) make it looks good?" And I said "very obvious smile..."
He went ahead and said, there are more beautiful examples when it comes to black and white.
