| Notes | Layers, layers are important in photos, the foreground busy, full of people, people right on the edges, a person moving faster than the rest leaned into it at the 'third' point, two people about to walk out of shot on the left. The middle, or is it the back of the foreground, the modern, almost like a border separating the two, the old and the new, the still and the busy, a paint brush mark of white dragged across the canvas. Behind, so far behind is the history, the layers of stories, of cultures of people, houses, churches, palaces, monasteries and finally the sky trying it's best to add drama to the whole thing. |
