First of all, I wish all my friends a very happy Valentine's Day. I hope your day is going very well because mine is going very beautifully. I woke up after a good sleep today morning. Actually, I had made a plan yesterday that I would go to Sahastradhara and take a bath in the river there, but due to sleeping late at night, I could not get up on time in the morning.
I had put my cycle at the decathlon store yesterday so that it could be serviced and I could roam around on it. So the service of the cycle was good, now the plan is to go cycling tomorrow. Let's come to our topic, today I have given place to some kittens in the post, one is black while the other is brown.
The story of these two kittens is that during the Diwali festival, an aunty came with a car and said that I have 2 kittens whom I am not able to take care of... Will you take care of these two kittens? I could not refuse and brought both the kittens home. Aunty had told me that the mother of these two kittens was killed by dogs.
Both the kittens were looking at me as if thousands of years of sorrow was accumulated in their eyes. Both were so sad and were not eating anything. I felt pity on seeing them and first of all I took them to the nearby animal hospital where both were given injections and brought them home and bathed them. Both had worms in their hair which were cleaned with shampoo.
In 3 days both became completely clean and started eating a little. In a week both started recognizing me which made me feel very happy. Right now I am not feeding them anything from outside, I am only feeding them cat food which both are eating with great gusto. Now it has been a month since both of them are living with us and both are very happy now and play a lot. They keep running from one place to another in the house.
After about one and a half months when a family came to our house, they expressed their desire to adopt both of them which I could not refuse. So after staying with us for one and a half months, both of them have finally gone to their home where they will stay permanently. Today it has been almost 3 months since both the kittens have gone and both live on a farm where they are living their life without any restrictions.
I am happy that both of them got a very good family which takes very good care of them. Sometimes this family sends me photos of both of them which gives me peace. This was my first time when I raised and adopted a cat in this way. I was very happy to do this and if I get a chance in the future, I would definitely like to do such a thing again.
This is my entry for #monomad challenge.

What a lovely time you had with the kittens. You gave them hope to live again by taking close care of them. I remember when i was about 5 years old, we had birds. That was the most beautiful time as I would always play with them.
