Egret, this type of bird that lives in coastal areas is again the choice for hunting photos. The presence of this pure white feathered bird is a characteristic in one corner of the reservoir area that is often used by local residents to cultivate fish with a floating system. Not surprisingly, this condition is also used by flocks of egrets to find food sources.
Perfect timing! One of the egrets is cleaning its body. Its long beak, which is usually used to catch prey in the water, is used as a tool to clean its body.
After making sure its body is comfortable, the next target is to look for prey in the form of small fish in this wet area. The hunt begins. The egret flies quickly to the intended location. Yes! The intended location is the edge of the reservoir where there are usually small fish when the water starts to rise.
The following image is a moment when the egret hunts its prey, and these pictures are also my entries for the #monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes.
Thanks for taking the time. Of course, hopefully both entertaining and helpful! This pictures taken with Canon EOS 6D camera + 70-200mm lens.

They are just too pretty 🤩, in in black & white their color still an attention seeking. Those are pretty good shot 🤩
Thanks for stopping by! This is a typical feature of my city as a coastal area. Their presence always has a story through the shots of local photographers here. I appreciate your compliment. Have a nice weekend!
