Now that planting season has begun, farmers are hard at work tending to their individual rice fields. A view of one of the villages I visited a few weeks ago. Since rice is a staple diet for us here, this activity is a regular source of income for them. The fact that the rice fields here are still rather expansive and have good access to roads is not surprising.
Here, rice is still planted according to the traditional method, which preserves kinship values. to ensure the preservation of the abundance of traditional knowledge.
It is not surprising that in seasons like now, farmers flock to the fields whose workers are dominated by their own family members and also their closest neighbors, although some are also paid to work at certain times.
Small huts on the rice field embankments are a unique feature as a place to take shelter when resting after working for a long time.
Yes, in fact! Despite how untidy and straightforward it appears. They congregate in these little huts to talk about matters deemed significant in relation to getting ready for the next harvest season.
And lastly, this post's closing photo is of the two-wheeled vehicle that has been my constant companion on numerous photo hunts, and these pictures are also my entries for the #monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes
Thanks for taking the time. This pictures taken with Canon EOS 6D camera + 70-200mm lens.
