While walking through a neighborhood relatively close to where my mom lives, I stopped to take some pictures of this place that in Havana we call “Los elevados” (“The elevated”).
A space where many lines and textures converge, inviting to black and white photography, to try to "see it all".
I was there for quite a while to wait for a train to pass by, since it doesn't happen very often.
Luckily, just when I was about to give up, one passed by, but since I was only using my cell phone, I didn't want to get too excited and let it go.
I like this place a lot, actually I really like the pictures on train lines. I don't really know what attracts me to them. But I could spend hours taking pictures in the same place.
Nearby there is a train station, but it is closed, so we can't go along the lines, which is quite dangerous, and you have to be very careful, but there are not too many trains running at the same time.
I hope you like them and tell me if it has also happened to you that there are those places that you like to photograph too much, but you can not identify exactly why.

Mientras caminaba por un barrio relativamente cerca de donde vive mi mamá, me detuve a tomar algunas fotos de este lugar al que en La Habana le llamamos "Los elevados".
Un espacio donde convergen muchas líneas y texturas que invitan a la fotografía en blanco y negro, para tratar de poder "verlo todo".
Ahí estuve un buen rato para poder esperar a que pasara un tren, pues no es muy seguido que sucede.
Por suerte casi cuando me iba a rendir pasó uno, pero como solo andaba con el móvil, no quise ponerme a inventar demasiado y que se me fuera.
Este lugar me gusta mucho, en realidad me gustan muchos las fotos en lineas de tren. No sé bien qué es lo que me atrae de ellas, la verdad. Pero puedo pasarme horas haciendo fotos en ese mismo lugar.
Cerca hay una estación de trenes , pero está cerrada, así que no podemos circular por las lineas, que si es cierto es bastante peligroso y hay que andarse con mucho cuidado, pero no hay demasiados trenes como para que circulen al mismo tiempo.
Espero que te gusten y me digas si te ha pasado también que existen esos lugares que te gusta fotografiar demasiado pero no logras identificar exactamente por qué.
