This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

I used to live only a couple of houses over from my family so on the weekends my sister would typically come over to my place for breakfast. We were chilling and drinking coffee when my roommate, Kat, came into the living room and asked if we were down for a photoshoot. She had found the perfect location. Of course we were down and got ready right away. Then we walked to the post office. The post office was my roommate's perfect location. Out of all the places for a photoshoot me and my sister thought this was hilarious but when Kat took us behind the post office we saw what she saw. There were so many bushes full of flowers to photograph. As we were taking photos the security came and said that we weren't allowed to shoot there but he would give us 10 minutes to finish up.

Pua means flower in Hawaiian and wahine means woman. Chantè is wearing a lei po'o (head lei), a flower print romper, holding a hibiscus, and sitting in front of a bunch of flowers so I thought Pua Wahine would be the appropriate name for this set of images. These photos were taken on 35mm black and white film and developed at Treehouse on Oahu.
